Is ESO fun alone : The main purpose of ESO is to let you enjoy the awesome story and all the quests that are fully voice-acted. The story and quest content in ESO is made for solo players and if you want to go through all the content it will take you several hundred hours to complete everything.
Should I play ESO or SWTOR : I would say that for personnel character story swtor wins but when it comes to world story's and NPC story's ESO wins hands down. I play both, and definitely swtor. Eso has many strong points and wins on many scores in the checklist.. but ultimately feel stale and stiff in comparison.
